 Jazz on Third - Music for a Cause VI presents Steph Johnson Quartet - Award winning Soul-Jazz guitarist/vocalist Steph Johnson featuring Rymand Entezari on keys, Rob Thorsen on bass and Richard Sellers on drums. Her soulful musical virtuosity, creates a unique and dynamic sound that has proven her to be an incredibly engaging performer and songwriter. KSDS Jazz 88FM. Music Critic Robert Bush has written this about Steph Johnson: "Seeking truth through groove...her core strengths are as a communicator - with rhythmic depth and smoky, pliant power." In the summer of 2016, Steph co-founded “Voices Of Our City”, a choir for people experiencing homelessness in San Diego.  Proceeds from the event will go to support Community Through Hope, a Chula Vista based non profit. Their mission is to foster hope for a better life of those facing food insecurity and homelessness by providing a hand up through innovative and compassionate programs with equality, dignity and respect.
